It has 10 programmes to help you bake the bread of your choice, including French, whole wheat, sweet and speciality and three crust settings--light, medium and dark--to give you the desired finish.

Bake only as much as you want with a trio of different loaf sizes--1 pound (lb), 1.5 lbs and 2 lbs--and get bread in no time thanks to the Turbo/ Fast Bake function. The unit is also designed with a fruit and nut dispenser which allows you to add further ingredients into your mix and those with a sweet tooth can also make delicious fresh jam and cakes.

The bread maintains its heat for up to an hour with the 60 minute Keep Warm feature and you can fit it into your schedule with the 13 hour time delay.

Keep an eye on the bread's progress with the viewing window and all the steps are easy to follow thanks to the digital display.

The breadmaker includes a bread pan and kneading blade--both of which are non-stick and dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning.

I just received this breadmaker as a birthday surprise and, boy, was I pleased! Desperate to make my first loaf, I decided to use the recipe booklet that came with the bread maker. Total disaster!!! I have no words to describe the result! Before any more ingredients went to waste, I thought I'd check out other recipes online and try again. They all suggested a lot lower quantities of flour compared to the recipes in the booklet and thankfully my second attempt produced a beautiful loaf of bread. I have now bought The Complete Bread Machine Book, which my friend recommended and where I got the second attempt recipe from. Excellent! The machine is not too large either and even though our kitchen is quite small, I have managed to find a space for it on our worktop. Can't wait to use it again!(Read more)

Don't waste your money on any other make - Panasonic is the only one worth buying. The extra initial outlay is definitely worth it in the long run. This latest model makes good breadmaking even easier, with larger loaf sizes and an automatic dispenser for raisins, seeds, nuts etc. With a household of 7, we bake at least once a day and always get excellent results. We like it because we know the children are getting top quality bread in their school sandwiches. The children like it simply because the bread tastes wonderful!
